The Design of Roads and Streets helps practitioners apply standards and guidelines for roads and streets in the right NSW contexts. It describes 21 Street types for six urban contexts. The design solutions library provides examples of design elements appropriate for different street types.
Transport for NSW has adopted the Design of Roads and Streets as a manual within the Transport Standards Framework for use across NSW.
Movement and Place is a cross-government framework for planning, designing and managing our transport networks to maximise benefits for the people and places they serve.
Programs in delivery across the state are applying the NSW Movement and Place framework.
Case studies allow practitioners to share the experience of applying the Movement and Place Framework to a wide range of projects or plans. In this way, each project can build on previous experiences and lessons learnt.
